The STIHL HS 82 RC-E Petrol 60cm Hedge Trimmer from ITS is a professional level machine that incorporates 2-MIX engine technology, ErgoStart and rotational handle to suit your personal choice.

The HS 82 RC-E boasts a double-sided cutting blade designed to cut through the toughest of hedges. The reliable, durable blades and gearbox will cope with a variety of uses, whether it's the first cut of the season or general maintenance.  The handle rotates by 90° to the left and right, ensuring the best cutting position at all times.

The STIHL 2-mix engine has been specially designed for the next generation of hedge trimmer as it combines low consumption and emissions with low weight as well as excellent acceleration. There are also always sufficient power reserves for cutting thicker shrubs.  The Electronic ignition module ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. The ignition system is fully encapsulated and thus protected from damp and dirt.

The R variations of the STIHL HS 82 are designed specifically for large volume cutting. They feature a cutting blade with wide tooth spacing and longer tooth height. The gearing allows a high cutting power at a medium stroke rate. The R variations provide the possibility of cutting thicker branches and completing clearing work faster.

A genuine advance in easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
