With a maximum cutting depth of 150mm in wood, 35mm in non-ferrous metal and 10mm in sheet steel, it has the capacity for a wide range of professional cutting applications.
Variable speed operation from 1,000 to 3,500 strokes per minute allows the cutting speed to be matched to the material, while four pendulum stroke settings give you the choice between faster cutting progress and a cleaner finish.
Metabo's Quick system allows the jigsaw blade to be changed without additional tools and automatically ejects the blade when released, helping you swap between cutting applications quickly. Low-positioned blade guidance also helps keep the blade stable for more accurate cuts.
The base can swivel from -45° to +45°, giving you the flexibility to tackle angled and bevel cuts without reaching for another saw.
An efficient chip-blowing function keeps debris away from the cutting line, while the integrated LED work light improves visibility in darker areas. The light can also be switched off when cutting from underneath to prevent glare.
For cleaner working, the supplied extraction nozzle allows the saw to be connected to a compatible dust extractor. A plastic guard plate and chip guard plate are also supplied to help protect the workpiece and produce cleaner, splinter-reduced cuts.
