The Makita UR017G 40V XGT Brushless Line Trimmer from ITS is perfect for light mowing jobs as well as dealing with verges.
Excellently balanced thanks to the top loaded motor unit, this brush cutter, with D-Style handle offers precision control as well as efficient operation. Thanks to the way this trimmer has been designed, there is significantly less heat-build up meaning that you can work for longer.
The UR017G Line Trimmer includes soft start control which prevents the ‘jump’ when some machines start up. Speed can be controlled by a single trigger and switch that will allows to set one of three speed levels.
The Constant Speed Control ensures that the Line Trimmer maintains speed, even under load, while the Anti-Restart Function will protect you, your plants in case you need to change the battery half way through the job.
The trimmer will even rotate in the opposite direction to remove any obstruction or entanglement. The hollow shaft allows for expert control and reduces weight.
To further enhance the safety features of the tool, it also incorporates Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. The UR017 also includes an ADT mode - Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) meaning that this cutter intelligently adjusts its speed of rotation depending on the thickness of grass or brush its cutting.

In addition, the torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.
