There are powerful tools and then there is the Makita TD002G 40V XGT Brushless Impact Driver from ITS that takes impact drivers to another level.
The TD002G offers increased performance levels and enhanced technology to make driving screws and bolts incredibly easier. The impact driver features dual spring technology that includes two types of springs to work with different loads. The hammer function in the impact driver is driven by one spring for lighter operations and two springs for heavier workloads.
The result of the dual spring technology is a range of operational modes the deliver the precise power needed to get the job done.
With 10 advanced settings, the impact driver delivers up to 220Nm over four adjustable speeds. Offering a wider range of connections, the Makita TD002G will work with M4 upto M14 bolts. With ease (M4-M8 Machine Screws; M5-M16 Standard Bolts; M5-M14 High Strength Bolts).
As you would expect from a powerful tool from the leading brand, the Impact driver includes Variable speed control by trigger, Constant Speed Control, Electric Brake and 4 LED lights on the tool head that will reduce shadowing on the workpiece.
Assist Modes include:
1 wood mode: Automatic speed control, the machine starts at low speed until the screw encounters resistance in the material, preventing damage to threads.
2 T-positions: For working with text or self-drilling screws in both thin and thick metal.
3 bolt modes: Prevents bolts from being overtightened and Auto stop mode when turning in reverse.
Speed selection can be made easily thanks to the speed selector just above the trigger, and ¼” Hex bit holder prevents any wobble when in operation. As well as 220Nm max torque, the Makita TD002G offers four impact rate modes, from 0-1400ipm to 0-4600ipm, as well as four differing speed modes from 0-1100rpm up to 0-3700rpm.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it with extended run time and higher power output.
