The Festool TSC 55 18V Brushless Plunge Saw from ITS is a versatile and powerful machine. From the moment this was designed, despite its power offering, safety is at the soul of this saw.
With a unique kickback stop, the plunge saw will stop in the blink of an eye - protecting both the piece you're working on, and protecting you. With almost double the power of the previous model, you can make precise cuts with ease.
The Festool TSC 55 KEB has an exceptional torque and allows you work almost twice as fast thanks to the new generation of Festool blades. When twinned with the brushless EC-TEC motor, the battery packs deliver maximum efficiency and exceptional durability. The TSC 55 KEB is also fitted with a range of controlling electronics to monitor temperature so as not to have it overheat.
Should you need to, the kickback stop can be turned off. Usually when you're working with a guide rail or uneven surface. However, when you turn it back on, the kickback will be activated at the same time. There is a huge range of guide rails available, which when used with the clip-on splinterguard, reduces splinters to almost zero giving you a smooth and perfect cut.
The angles 0° and 45° can be selected directly using the locking positions. Undercuts are also possible with the extended adjustment option from -1° to 47°. Trying to cut close to a wall has always been difficult. However, with the TSC 55 KEB, the housing is so slimline, you can get to 12mm off the wall. FastFix blade changing makes it easy to change the blade to suit the job in hand.
Easy to read and adjust: The dual cutting depth scale for working with or without a guide rail. Now even easier thanks to extra-large font and precision adjustment.
At the heart of this sander is the EC-TEC brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it with extended run time and higher power output.
