It's built from robust anodised aluminium, locking firmly to your worktop with an integrated clamp (compatible with Festool lever clamps), so once it's in place, it stays put - even if you need to pass your router over the same groove more than once.

With the fence fixed, you effortlessly route panels of 600 or 650 mm depth, then slide it forward and go all the way to 900 mm.

Need to go deeper? Festool has thought of that too with extension profiles that push your capability past the 900 mm mark. That means working on oversized islands or secret bars is no problem.

And hollows and grooves for fittings? Easily done using two freely position-able sub-templates to recess conventional connectors under the surface—again, in the same run, without switching jigs.

The APS 900/3 plays beautifully with your OF 2200 or OF 1400 router, requiring just a 14 mm groove cutter and 30 mm copying ring. Mounting is quick - a simple clasp-and-bolt approach works in seconds, so you’re routing, not fiddling around.
