Early days, but makes easy work of IPE100...
Too early to comment on reliability, or blade life. Still cutting well on the first blade, so all good so far. One point is that the alloy base (steel on the cheaper models) is too pretty and soft to drag steel beams across, so I have installed polyethylene sacrificial faces to keep it scratch-free. Used plywood initially but too much friction for easy material placement on the saw. Having the quick and repeatable angle adjustment is a game changer, so much time saved compared to my old chop saw with bolted guide. It is also really nice to have the clamps on both sides of the cut, much more secure than having a single side supported. It is also built more solid than my old saw, the pivot is rigid so cuts are properly straight at the set angle. So far I would recommend.
