What sets this Track Square apart is its universal compatibility. It works with Evolution’s ST2800-G2 and ST1400-G2 tracks, and with any Festool, Makita, Triton, Bosch, Metabo, Scheppach etc. guide rails or saw tracks. B

y simply dropping it in place and clamping down, you can lock in a perfect 90° guide without having to drag something along the whole rail. For rails with anti-tip features, an extra clamp is included so there’s no worry about fit or stability.

In terms of accuracy, the numbers speak for themselves: less than 0.5 mm run-out over a 700 mm section, and less than 1.0 mm over 1,400 mm. This means when you’re cutting long panels, plywood, MDF or sheet goods, you’re not getting drift or error creeping in.

The reference edge is generous - 330 mm in length - allowing stable alignment from both leading and trailing edges. It balances solid rigidity with portability - it won’t flex, but it’s not so heavy as to make set-ups awkward.
