The Dewalt DCF85MP2T McLaren F1 18V XR Brushless Impact Driver from ITS is one of those incredible tools.
The incredibly compact and lightweight impact driver is ideal for reaching into confined as well as difficult to reach locations. The impact driver, ideal for a huge range of trades including construction, automotive and industrial, features a ‘drop and load’ bit holder for one handed operation.
With a three mode operation switch that includes Precision Drive, the Dewalt McLaren Impact Driver delivers up to 205Nm of torque with up to 3800 IPM impact rate. The Precision Drive mode will work as a screwdriver in light applications, before hesitating as the screw head reaches the workpiece, and then (if required) start a slow controlled impact to ensure the head ends perfectly flush. This mode is for light-duty screwdriving applications.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
