The Dewalt DCD150 54V XR FLEXVOLT Brushless Diamond Core Drill from ITS delivers corded performance levels in a cordless body with a maximum core diameter capacity of 162mm.
Supplied with a three gear speed box which provides the correct speed for the size of the core and respective material, the speed is comfortably controlled by the two-finger variable speed trigger. It includes a lock on control that allows access to those wearing gloves as well as a lock on switch for longer use, such as when in the stand.
The DCD150 comes with the 2 most common core fitments - 1 ¼” UNC fitment (external) and ½” BSP fitment (internal) delivering exceptional flexibility with core bits. As part of the PERFORM & PROTECT line of products, this Core Drill features the ANTI-ROTATION System that senses the rotational motion of the tool and shuts it down if the motion is excessive
The drill incorporates wireless tool control which will automatically activate external accessories such as the DCV586 dust extractor or DCE6820 Water Tank for dust suppression.
The Dewalt Diamond Core Drill has been equipped with a lock-on switch that enables the user to turn on the core drill and go without holding down the trigger for the entirety of the application (to be used for stand-mounted core drilling only.)
The side handle with adjustable thumb wheel allows you to easily adjust water rate without having to stop working for increased efficiency.
At the heart of the drill is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.

Anti-rotation E-Clutch systems detect rotational motion and minimise any sudden torque reaction, while electronic Kickback Brakes in their grinders automatically shut off power when a pinch, stall or bind up occurs. LED indicators and overload sensors also feature.
PERFORM PROTECT - VIBRATION
Prolonged vibration exposure leads to common disorders like carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) and white finger (VWF). Dewalt's Active Vibration Control features include counterbalance systems, floating handles and more to considerably lower levels of triaxial vibrations. This helps deliver up to 50% lower vibrations. Correctly used, tools in the Perform & Protect range ensure user exposure is kept below the Exposure Action Value limit. Tools recording a 5m/s² vibration can be used up to 2 hours/day to reach the exposure action value (EAV) and up to 8 hours/day to reach the exposure limit value (ELV). Increased time and comfort of use means you and your team can perform heavy-duty tasks for longer with greater safety.
