The TS55REBQ-PLUS-FS has a 55mm max depth of cut and can also cut 43mm at a 45 degree angle with even more precision with its angle setting with snap-in points and indentation feature (-1 degree and/or 47 degrees).
Thanks to its flat outer guard the Festool TS55REBQ-PLUS-FS can cut extremely close to the wall.
Complete with a 1.4m guide rail and contained within a protective systainer case the TS55REBQ-PLUS-FS is an impressive piece of machinery.

This was the first Festool I purchased and would not be without it in my profession. (kitchen Fitting) I use it every day and find the saw blade change just a breeze.This has to be the easiest blade change around. Once you have used one of these there is no going back
I hesitated before buying my first one of these saws due to the cost. I shouldn't have worried. It is far superior to the Dewalt plunge saw that I had previously (which broke twice and was eventually returned under warranty for a refund). The quality and precision is exceptional and frequently the cut you get with sheet materials such as MDF is better than the one from the manufacturer. This saw is so good it has made my table saw almost redundant. Extraction is excellent (95% + of dust is removed) but I'd recommend buying the hose and cable guide that connects to the end of the rail and prevents the extraction hose snagging. Plunge depth is easily and accurately changed and set with or without th rail due to the 'dual' depth guage. All in all a fantastic piece of kit that pays for itself. It's so good I bought one for an employee too.
