"This product has a reasonable amount of power and is a very handy tool. however i noticed when i brought it that the spindle/chuck lock was slipping when tightening a cutter. i have only used it once in the month i have had it. today i placed a slot/ grooving cutter into the chuck and tried to tighten it up, i thought it was tight and started it up. only to find the cutter had dropped whilst in use ruining the stile on my gate. i shall be returning it and buying a dewalt. the fence is poor, poor duct extraction and cable is too short. it not ITS's fault though as they are very reliable just buy a different brand."

"Dust port is a nightmare. Makes it hard to change cutters. Lead is far too short. "

"Previously had the Dewalt Dw615 before I bought this trend T4ekpk12 The Dewalt is more powerful and double the cost but I still think this Trend router is a nifty bit of kit..lighter than the Dewalt offering less user fatigue..The quality in build is there for the price..not a fan of the guide but it can be changed for the bigger brothers with micro adjust.. BOTTOM LINE IS This router is value for money"
