That’s where the Skywatch EOLE Wind Speed Anemometer from ITS comes in to help.
With a 54mm impeller to measure the wind speed, this compact and rugged device is perfect to read the strength of the wind from a gentle breeze under 1mph.  Waterproof, floatable if dropped in water, the display will offer measurements in way that is easier for you, km/h, mph, knots, m/s and fps.
The anemometer can give you instant windspeed, maximum windspeed and average windspeed.  It also includes a bar graph in Beaumont Scale.  The aluminium base includes a thread that allows it to be screwed to a standard camera tripod.
