The Paslode PPNXi Gas Positive Placement Nailer from ITS delivers an efficient and safe way of installing hangers, brackets and straps.
Aimed at carpenters and roofers working on-site, on both new build and renovation projects, fixing metal work connectors into wood, the PPNXi nailer delivers 77Joules of impact force and is capable of firing up to 1000 fixings per hour of paper strip hardened ring nails from 35 to 50 mm.
The innovative locator probe accurately delivers a hardened twist nail in the precise required location.
The smaller design to improve accessibility and durability makes this up to six times faster than hand nailing the same applications.
The nose probe self-locates to allow the nail to fire in the aimed spot and difficult to reach areas can now be filled by the PPNXi
The quick release magazine has been designed to eliminate nail jams and maximise runtime for high volume operations
For your safety, the PPNXi Nail Gun features a Last Nail Lock Out System which will stop the nail gun from firing when the magazine is empty thus preventing damage to both materials as well as the nail gun.

What is a Positive Placement Nailer?
This is where we start to move into the world of very specific professional application nailers. A positive placement nailer is never going to be found in the DIY tool kit as it is a specialist tool designed to do a small range of tasks very well and very quickly.
The clue is in the name "Positive Placement"! You can be confident that the nail is going to be fired exactly where you indent it to fire.
Doesn't sound too important unless you are trying to fix joist hangers, sole brackets, connector plates, truss clips, restraint straps or Z-Clips for example, these jobs are where the positive placement nailer is an absolute must.
For this type of application, a positive placement nailer is safer, faster and much more efficient than using a conventional framing nailer.
This tool most commonly fires a 35mm Full head nail, specific to the task.
