The Metabo 4.0Ah 18V Li-HD Battery Pack from ITS includes Ultra M technology: Intelligent battery management for long-lasting battery packs.

As well as cooling technology that will extend the life of your battery, the pack also contains Permanent Electronic Single Cell Protection (ESCP) which, when charging, prevents overloading and overheating.

Designed for use with all CAS Brands, this 18V battery includes processor controlled charging and discharging management as well as no memory effect, all while delivering the ultimate performance and long life with minimal temperature generation.

The Metabo ASC 55 Air Cooled Charger from ITS charges all 12V to 36V Metabo battery packs

With monitored charging, microcontroller and battery diagnosis. Charges all Li-Power Compact, Plus and Extreme battery packs.

"AIR COOLED" function: the patented principle is based on air-cooling the battery pack during the charging process. The battery packs are gently cooled down to the required charging temperature, and then during the charging process are constantly maintained at optimum temperature.

 With this principle, a higher tool life of the battery packs and up to 30% shorter total charging time can be achieved.
