The M18 FID is a Second Generation Fuel Impact Driver from Milwaukee.
This offering is a body only featuring no batteries, case or charger and is one of the first '2nd Generation' models in the fuel range from Milwaukee.
'Fuel' is a Milwaukee range of power tools that combines a brushless 'POWERSTATE" motor that boasts unmatched power and durability, with the REDLINKTM PLUS
intelligence built into the motor and the battery, which sends computer signals between the two to help fight against overheating and overload.
This new generation of fuel is designed with a whole new Brushless Motor and CPU.
The motor has higher grade magnets and is smaller (therefore giving Milwaukee the ability to make the M18 FID smaller
This impact driver is very powerful, yet smaller and lighter than its predecessor.
Maxing out at 2900rpm and 3600ipm its one of the top of the range Impact drivers on the market.
But the real show stopper of this impact driver is the stunning amount of torque that its able to generate: a Whopping 203Nm.
The M18 FID also has Milwaukee® DRIVE CONTROL™ allows the user to shift into four different speed and torque settings to maximize application
versatility:
Mode 1 for precision work
Mode 2 helps prevent damage to fasteners and material
Mode 3 delivers maximum performance for the toughest applications
Mode 4 is the optimum between precision work and maximum performance and automatically adjusts speed, impacts and torque

Most Milwaukee products can be registered for a 3-year warranty. The products EXCLUDED from the 3-year warranty are: M28 Rechargeable battery packs, battery chargers, and accessories.
