The Makita KP001G 40V Max XGT Brushless Planer from ITS is an impressively powerful machine with a maximum planning depth of 4mm.
The planer features a host of features to ensure your safety including an electric brake, anti-restart function as well as dust collection. The Planer can also connect to Makita’s AWS which will automatically start an external dust extractor so that your materials are free from dust and debris.
The planer is ideal for both rough and thin planning and includes a foot on the base plate, while the front base includes 3 chamfering grooves. For easier working, the Makita KP001G also features a lock-off function and soft start.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
