The kit includes the following:

DV18DSL Hammer Drill/Driver
Compact and lightweight it weighs just 2.2kg and has an overall length of 242mm. Powerful motor with up to 92Nm of torque. 3-Mode settings are available: Drilling, Impact Drilling, and Driver. A 13mm keyless chuck makes bit changing easy with one handed operation.

WH18DSAL Impact Driver
A compact and powerful 18V impact driver with variable speed trigger ensures a high level of control at all speeds, and reverse mode can be selected with the thumb switch positioned next to the trigger for ease of use. The 145Nm torque of the WH18DSAL is maintained even in reverse, making unfastening as easy as fastening at a no load speed of 2600rpm. Integrated LED job light helps illuminate the workspace when working in poorly lit or confined areas. The driver has external brush caps to make the replacement of carbon brushes quick and easy.

The Hitachi KC18DKL 2 piece kit uses 4.0Ah Lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages: the batteries have no memory effect which allows them to be recharged before they are completely discharged, they are up to 40% lighter than an NiCD or NiMH battery and they also maintain their charge noticeably longer which provides increased productivity. They can run up to 133% longer than the 3.0Ah version even though the 4.0Ah is the same weight and dimensions.
