This is the Makita HR004G a cordless brushless SDS+ Hammer Drill which is part of the 40V MAX XGT range from Makita. It's a superb tool which delivers on Makita's promise for corded power with the freedom of cordless.
The HR004G has been designed for top of the range balance and excellent handling with easy, simply to use controls and settings.
You can easily insert SDS+ drill bits and chisels and in a flash switch between the 3 modes of use (Hammer Only, Rotary only and Rotary Hammer).
As you'd expect it also contains Makita's AVT 'Anti Vibration Technology' to minimise the impact of heavy vibrations on the user and it 'Soft No Load' function will reduce the motor speed during idiling - again in order to stop or reduce vibration.
Unlike the HR003 this model comes with a Quick Change Drill Chuck to change from SDS+ Bits to standard drill bits quickly and easily.
This model is compatible with the DX12 dust box (sold seperatley)
