The HC 260 C features a highly stable gear system that ensures a uniform feed of the workpiece, giving you control and consistency even when tackling large boards. The thickness table, made from solid, non-abrasive grey cast iron, provides a stable, rigid support base for accurate results under heavy use.
You’ll appreciate the solid build when using the convenient height adjustment crank to dial in precise cuts. For increased longevity, the planer is equipped with reversible (double) blades - meaning once one edge is worn, you can flip them over rather than immediately replace them.
Accuracy and flexibility get further backing in the form of a jointing fence that swivels from 90° down to 45°, allowing for edge jointing in addition to thicknessing. To protect your workspace and health, there’s a chip ejection hood and extraction nozzles for attaching dust collection.
Safety hasn’t been overlooked either: integrated restart protection prevents the machine from unintentionally powering on after a power interruption, and the smooth induction motor design is maintenance-free and built for durability.
The HC 260 C has a feed rate of 5 m/min which enables efficient material removal of 0 - 3 mm per pass. With a blade shaft spinning at 6,500 rpm and two blades of 63 mm diameter, the machine offers a fine balance between throughput and surface finish.
