This is the Bosch 18 V-LI Compact, which is a professional standard 18v Li-ion SDS+ Hammer Drill, which comes supplied with 2 x 3.0Ah li-ion batteries, an L-BOXX Carry Case and Charger.

An SDS Drill is espically designed for drilling into masonry due to its pneumatic 'hammer' action, and this model can drill holes up to 12mm into concrete.

This is has one of the highest power to weight ratios around, weighing in at just 2.1Kgs, its still able to deliver 1.0 Joules of impact energy, so it will be able to take on a large chunk of masonry drilling, but won't ever feel overly heavy or combersome.

As its a 2 mode machine, you can use it in mode 1) Rotary Hammer, which is for drilling into masonry.Or mode 2) Rotary only, which is the more traditional drilling or screwdriving mode for standard drilling into wood or metal.

When using mode 2 you can drilling holes up to 16mm in wood and 8mm in metal.

This model includes ECP (electronic cell protection) to provent your tool or battery from overheating, overload and deep discharge.

Theres also an in build LED joblight for illuminating your work area and a 3 stage battery level indicator.
