Marking Panasonics 35th year in Power Tools they have developed a new edition to the 18v range.
Panasonic Tough Tool products survive on any work site no matter how tough the jobs. With effective dust and water protection the tough tool will continue to function no matter how bad the conditions get and with features such as battery sensors, the tool protects itself from overcharging and overdischarging. Also a temperature sensor helps protect the battery from over heating by shutting down the machine and flashing a warning light before the damage is done. With Panasonic Lithium-ion, the future fits the past, meaning this body will accept both 14.4V and 18V Panasonic batteries. This SDS+ hammer drill driver also comes with 2 x 4.2Ah lithium-ion batteries meaning it will last longer than the 3Ah batteries.
The Panasonic EY78A1LJ2GT31 Dual Voltage 4.2Ah Lithium-ion SDS+ Rotary Hammer Drill combines the functions of SDS+ rotary hammer and drill driver in one compact unit providing greater versatility without changing tool. Designed for fast hammer drilling of anchor holes in masonry and concrete, it easily converts to standard rotary drilling for wood and steel, also screwdriving using the 5 stage torque clutch.
It is equipped with the innovative T-grip design resulting in a lightweight and stable balance body, allowing one-handed operation and easy to work in tight spaces. A variable speed gearbox produces 0-1250rpm, including reverse action, and creates up to 4750bpm. SDS+ fitting makes it ideal for use in a variety of materials. and also features an electric brake.
