Panasonic EY74A2LJ3G31R 14.4v & 18v Brushless Drill Driver is supplied with 3 x 5.0Ah Li-ion Batteries, 80 min Charger & Case.

This Brushless Drill Driver offers a compact body at just 178mm with a lighter, yet more powerful motor compared to the brushed equlivant. Having a brushless motor means that none of the energy generated by the battery is wasted on friction and heat from carbon brushes. Instead all of that energy goes into the job you're doing which means that it is more efficient, concentrated and runtimes are increased.

Featuring Panasonic's IP (Intelligent Powertool) which is a communication tool between the tool and battery ensuring that neither will be damaged in the case of overheating or over discharge.

Accepting both 14.4v and 18v batteries and in terms of capacities it is a general purpose tool offering up a max 1580rpm no load speed, max 50Nm torque with a max bit capacity of 36mm into wood and max 13mm into metal, when used with 18v batteries.

New 'Speed Control' function lets the user define the speed settings to ensure that you get the best possible finish to your drilling, changing the settings depending no what style of bit or what material your using. This way if you use a holesaw into plaster you'll still get a nice clean finish.

The Chuck has also been redeveloped and the new 'hard chuck' jaw tips give the drill more bite strength and therefore more grip but less wear on your bits.

High power slim 5.0Ah battery gives full tool performance but in a smaller and lighter size.
