The Makita EM4350UH MM4 Brush Cutter from ITS includes a 43cc, 4-stroke engine the produces 2hp.
The engine includes an automatic decompression to reduce the start up force needed to pull the starter handle.
The MM4 engine does not require fuel mixing thereby reducing the risk of damaging it. It runs on unleaded and also has a large oil filling pot along with a drain plug for easier oil changing.
This Brush Cutter is ideal for working in larger areas, can easily cut through long grass, weeds and brush.  This would be fantastic in a construction or even forestry setting.
The large, bullhorn-style handle is comfortable to hold and helps control the cutter with ease.  The Handle holder, universal guard and cutting can changed without the need for additional tools.

    Carburettor setting completely out

Posted by Andrew Cichocki on 27th Jul 2022

No issues with ITS, they were perfect, but Makita obviously do not test run these before dispatch as the settings on the carburettor were completely out. Filled up fluids and Aspen 4 fuel and after a prime and a few pulls, the brush cutter fired up, but as soon as the throttle was touched, it stalled, not just stopped, but actually went backwards as it snatched the pull chord. Tried again and similar result including one where it snatched the pull chord from my hand as I was pulling it. Not wanting to go to all the trouble of returning the brush cutter, I found the carburettor L & H screws which had plastic limiters and were already set to maximum and tried adjusting these, but to no avail, so checked the sparkplug etc then removed the limiter caps for the screws. Ten minutes later I had a nicely running brush cutter. It's not quiet, but also not the same screaming banshee of a two stroke and cuts very well even at partial throttle openings. I have a 4mm Oregon mulching blade which fits perfectly and this runs it up no problem, but I have not used it yet, going to let the engine bed in a little first.
