The Makita DTW300 18V LXT Brushless 1/2" Impact Wrench from ITS is a powerful tool with specific useful features aimed at the scaffold industry.
It has 330Nm of torque with 580Nm of nut-busting power to crack difficult joints and is powered by a brushless motor for a shorter charging time.
The variable speed trigger can be changed to full speed mode, this is when full speed is reached more quickly but with a shorter pull distance for improved productivity of around 30%, and the 4-speed impact power selection provides optimal fastening.
Other features include a bright twin LED lamp to illuminate the fastening area, auto-stop and auto-slowdown to prevent nut loss by running off the thread and an electronic brake for better control.
The DTW300 has a 1/2" square drive and is suitable for standard bolts M10-M20 and high tensile bolts M10-M16. The 1/2” Square drive comes with friction ring and hole for locking pin. This connection ensures a firm connection between the machine and the impact socket and the possibility to secure the impact socket to the machine. This is important when working overhead or at great heights, for example.
