The Makita DSD180Z LXT 18V Drywall Cutter developed for cutting holes in drywalls, when setting ceiling lights, air vents etc.
More suitable for straight cuts compared with general cut-out tools, easy straight cutting is achieved by blade shape and cutting system, excellent manoeuvrability by the excellent tool balance allowing easy over-head operation.
Variable speed with a max 6000spm no load speed, 6mm stroke length, with a 30mm cutting capacity in drywall & 15mm cutting capacity in wood.
Featuring a base cover to protect drywall surfaces from scratches and damage, the dust box designed to catch dust in over-head applications, also connectable to dust extractor.
On-tool storage for hex wrench, screw down blade clamp, orbital mechanism helps keep the cutting line free of debris.
Trigger lock & LED job light for low visibility applications helping illuminate the cutting line.
The 3 stage battery fuel gauge shows the power remaining in the battery, simply by pulling the trigger. 3 lights on - more than 50% of full battery capacity. 2 lights on - 20% to 50% of full battery capacity. 1 light on - less than 20% of full battery capacity.
