The Scheppach DM600VARIO 600mm Wood Lathe from ITS is the perfect tool to start wood turning at home with ease.
With the flexibility to be screwed directly to your workbench to ensure smooth operations, this compact lathe is capable of dealing with pieces up to 60cm long and 25cm in diameter.
At the very heart of this lathe is a 550W motor with a stepless, electronic speed control with an idle speed of 800-3000rpm.
The Headstock includes a M18 thread that also includes a 4-prong centre point and face plate while the tailstock has a quick locking lever and revolving spindle tap.
For smaller workpieces, the tailstock can be moved closer to the headstock and held securely in place with the quick-release lever.
The tool rest is fixed to the machine base. This allows you to hold the tool steady while turning and pressed against the workpiece with the required pressure. The result is cleaner and better results. The tool rest is adjustable and adaptable to suit the needs of the workpiece and your project.
