The Makita DKP181 18V LXT Brushless 82mm Planer from ITS is a versatile and powerful tool that delivers premium performance levels.
Delivering 12,000rpm no load speed, the planer has a maximum planning depth of 3mm, and max rebate depth of up to 25mm.
It also features an electronic brake which will shut down the motor if it meets resistance. It also includes 3 chamfering grooves for angled planning. The depth of cutting can be easily adjusted by the knob at the front of the tool.
The blades can be changed easily while dust/debris are ejected either side of the planer.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the planer efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
