The Makita DHP481 18V LXT Brushless Combi Drill from ITS delivers a huge amount of power thanks to the brushless motor and all metal gearbox.
This powerhorse combi drill generates a maximum no load speed of 2100rpm, impressive max 115Nm torque and up to 31,500bpm impact rate.
This brushless hammer drill is 20% more work efficient than the current model as well as being 20mm more compact. With 21 position adjustable torque control for uniform results and optimized precision.
The features of this drill include 2 speed/variable speed including reverse, 13mm single sleeve keyless chuck for easy bit installation/removal by one hand, drilling up to 13mm into steel, 76mm into wood and 16mm into masonry making it ideal for use in a variety of materials and applications.
Featuring a twin LED job light with pre-glow for use in low visibility together with a variable speed trigger for greater control.
The 3 stage battery fuel gauge shows the power remaining in the battery, simply by pulling the trigger. 3 lights on - more than 50% of full battery capacity. 2 lights on - 20% to 50% of full battery capacity. 1 light on - less than 20% of full battery capacity.
The compact 205mm overall length, the shortest in its class, well balanced, lightweight 2.3kg design makes it easy to handle without compromising on power, whilst the best possible ergonomic, soft rubber grip handle provides maximum user comfort reducing fatigue on prolonged use and providing greater tool control.

The best yet. I had a few of the first Lithium BHP…
The best yet. I had a few of the first Lithium BHP451 3-speed drills and the BHP459 light weight brushless drill from makita and since getting this DHP481 i have given them away. Yes this is heavier than the 459, but the balance is great and the speed and power of this drill makes me grin when i spin a fat Auger bit through a knotty joist. Phwoar yeah.

The best yet. I had a few of the first Lithium BHP451 3-speed drills and the BHP459 light weight brushless drill from makita and since getting this DHP481 i have given them away. Yes this is heavier than the 459, but the balance is great and the speed and power of this drill makes me grin when i spin a fat Auger bit through a knotty joist. Phwoar yeah.
