"Looks really bulky and solid on the outside, but inside, different story, had this combi for 7 months as a carpenter drilling locks with it mostly, one day it just gave up on me, been using 20mm auger drill bit to do 4 holes, and it died on 3d hole 1/4 way, I thought it's must be brushes, but when I opened the back, I was for a shock, everything has melted around motor like cheezy pizza, brushes still had like, more than half carbon on them..... So there we are, I'm usually a fan of Makita (I do have most of the cordless power tools Makita) factory fault? "
