The Dewalt DCN701 18V XR Electricians Stapler from ITS is a compact tool that automatically adjusts depth of drive based on cable thickness and staple fits snuggly without pinching.
Instead of spending a load of time with a hammer and a pouch full of pins, you can now staple quickly, efficiently, and easily. From the moment its turned on, the stapler is ready to fire.
One handed operation means you no longer have to balance on your ladder or awkwardly try to swing your hammer at the ceiling, the DCN701 will change the way you work forever.
A compact size of 200mm allows the user to work between joists and a built in LED light illuminates the working area when power isn’t available.
Being battery powered means that the stapler is mechanical rather than gas operation which provides consistent performance at temperature between -15 and 50 degrees Celsius and minimal cleaning/service requirements.

This is a specialist type of stapler designed to speed up the process of running and fixing the cable.
These staples are used mainly for fixing twin and earth cables in first-fix applications to timber joists and offer huge time savings when compared to alternative techniques such as banging in cable clips by hand.
Staples are normally "Insulated Crown" staples which are pre-fitted with an insulated piece along the crown which prevents metal contact with the cable and ensures both a fast and safe fixing.
Staples will generally be around 19mm to 25mm in length, which is all that's normally needed for the task.
