The Dewalt DCG405FN is part of the 18V XR (Extreme Runtime) range which provides cordless power tools with enhanced runtime, fitted with a Brushless motor for increased tool efficiency, plus improved performance and power for a wide range of applications on the job site.

18V Brushless Motor produces a max 9000rpm no load speed, Electronic Brake quickly stops the wheel in <2 seconds when the trigger is released for more control.

Flat head for access to acute angles and has an excellent cutting depth. Ergonomic slim body with rubber over-mould and compact, lightweight 2.5kg design for improved comfort and control. Compact gear case for increased access to tight spaces and gives excellent cutting depth.

Slide switch provides less user fatigue. Built in no-volt release gives protection against accidental start ups when new battery is installed.

Constant Clutch and E-Clutch protects from kickbacks, cuts and wheel bursts. Braking time of <2 seconds when the trigger is released to help reduce accidental contact and injury.
