This impressive second generation impact driver has a small but powerful brushless motor which is able to achieve better performance and better runtimes than either the previous brushless version or the old brushed models. It is also the first Dewalt impact driver to have a handy application control and gearbox which allows the user to choose the power of the torque they'd like depending on which material they're workign with.

Its been rated at a maximum of 205Nm of hard torque which really is impressive and put other models to shame.
