When a dedicated FlexVolt Battery is attached, it will unlock up to 42% more power giving you the chance to work longer and enjoy the features that this drill has to offer.
Designed for durability, versatility and speed, this drill includes a metal 3-speed transmission, a brushless motor and a full metal ratcheting chuck with carbide inserts.
The drill offers an electronic clutch with 11 torque settings for precision work when screwdriving and when using the hammer drill option.
Additional features include a LED Worklight at the base of the handle with a delay feature to allow for improved visibility in darker work areas; Intelligent Trigger for total control over all applications including operational speed.

The Dewalt DCD999 18V XR XRP Brushless Combi Drill offers a maximum no load speed of up to 2000rpm (2250rpm in Hammer Mode), up to 38,250bpm and 126Nm max Torque. It has a chuck capacity of 1.5-13mm.

Bough this to replace my previous model that started to overheat after 7 years of full daily use. Slightly heavier than my previous, however do you get that back in performance. Very impressive combo drill for sure and would highly recommend to anyone.
