A tough 3 speed all metal transmission makes the DCD985 hammer drill driver (combi drill) is a tough tool with 22 position adjustable torque control for optimised precision. The sensitive trigger allows total control over all applications and the 13mm keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock offers fast bit changes. Its a heavy duty brushed tool, capable of dealing with some of the toughest jobs around site.
The DCD985 also features a bright LED light for improved visibility with delay feature and flashlight functionality. Please note that the DCD985 uses the new Dewalt XR Lithium-ion Slide-on style batteries and is therefore not compatible with any older style fitting.
The Dewalt DCD985 is part of the all powerful Dewalt XR 4.0Ah Lithium-ion cordless range, which offers eXtreme run time, increased efficiency and improved performance. By constantly monitoring tool and battery operation, the intelligent switch module maximises performance and prevents damage caused by overload or temperature build-up.
