The Vaunt X PCD saw blades are the latest addition to the range, with the polycrystalline diamond teeth (PCD) they can cut the hardest of materials easily and extremely cleanly (often eliminating making good), PCD blades are not only for the ultra-hard materials, they can be used on hard and softwoods also and can outlast a standard TCT blade by up to 30 times on certain applications
NOTE – PCD blades should not be set more than 1mm below the bottom of the material, this will end up weakening the tooth and it potentially becoming detached from the blade

a friend told me about PCD blades as I had never heard of them, after some research I found that they are used for cement board but I also read they are great for wood, in fact I have found they are AMAZING at cutting wood, it stays sharp for so long, I bought one and a 7 1/4" one and was amazed how clean the finish is for 4 teeth.
