I recently bought this product as it seemed like a good idea of pro longing the life of my makita battery. However the protector does not fit to the battery as it says, it fixes to the the drill and therefor you have to take off your belt hook on your drill so you will no longer be able to hook your drill onto your pouch or belt. It does not say this anywhere above or on the product information which is a bit disappointing.
