Excellent
Better than expected. Easy to handle, superb cutting operation, highly recommend. In addition the service by ITS was fast and efficient.

Does it cut cleanly?
Sharp and effective, once I had a view of where I could cut. The orange protrusion on one blade made it hard to see but I think I will get used to it being slightly different from my last pruner. Delivery was fast but my instructions were ignored and it was left outside instead of at neighbours.

Good bit of kit and worth the ££
It’s a solid looper. Extends to 4m and I don’t need a ladder for half the old jobs I used to. It’s well made and easy to use, even when fully extended. It’s a good bit of kit and the best looper I have bought to date.

I knew there were a couple of sellers of these on Ebay, but decided, on the moment, to type into the DuckDuckGo browser line, looked at ITS, had a look at TrustPilot - then signed up and ordered two - one for myself and one for the Wildlife Hospital nearby - result was free delivery which arrived at 8.30 a.m. the next day and saved myself 50 pounds over competitors prices. Extremely impressed with with the website and the service - AND HAVE MADE ITS MY FIRST PORT OF CALL when searching for something - as for the UPX86 - exactly as expected via YouTube vudeos and know there are no regrets on the purchase. Best telescopic tree pruners!
Having tried different brands of extendable tree pruners iver a number of years, these Fiskars powergear ones are definitely the best. Long reach, light weight, sturdy mechanism. Recommend this product.

Pruning made easy
Light weight, with amazing reach. It is on the long side, but if you've got tall trees, then this is safer than getting on a ladder with a shorter pruner

As with all Fiskars garden tools, and I have several, very well made. Worth paying the extra to obtain the longest model (UPX86). Cuts very smoothly with a smooth action. Can be a bit tricky at its full extension to locate a branch with the cutter, but with practise this should improve. No reflection on the tool. Highly recommended, saves climbing up a ladder or hiring someone to do the job.

Lovely design, huge reach
Had to cut back my fig tree which was reaching for the heavens (and, more importantly, the power lines). With 4m extension it's a bit unwieldy (surprise) but the cutting mechanism is lovely - effortless to use and with two places you can pull from, very adaptable. I thought the head angle adjustment was a bit of a gimmick but found it to be exactly what was needed as I did different bits of the tree from different angles.

Very effective!
I had been borrowing a neighbours, which had string and pulleys, and is nearly twice the price. This Fiskars one is much better. Way more comfortable to use, smaller head, lighter, and much easier to get it where you want it. It also cuts thicker branches.

Excellent Fiskars UPX86 lopper
Had an older 1.6m Wilkinson Sword pole lopper which served well for many years but this is just far better for higher branches, has a very solid and quality feel. Obviously heavier than our 1.6m one but not by much so shouldn't be too unwieldy. I was impressed with the additional pole end handle (yellow) to give even more reach, when you can't hold the middle handle. Very clever. Easy to extend and retract and cutting action was very smooth. Had to locate the add on saw from another supplier but should make it an even more flexible tool.
