  • Check-a-trade and ITS

  • ITS are pleased to announce that they have become official partners of the increasingly popular company ‘Checkatrade’.

Checkatrade is an online directory of local tradesman and service providers all of which have applied to join the directory and are then throughly ‘vetted’ to ensure that they are exactly who they claim to be and have a solid history of trade.  They check for company directors, references, insurance and previous clients to make sure that the company listed are the genuine article. Conseqently no cowboy or quick start company will get into these directories.

After this they go about gathering up reviews and opinions from people that have used these tradesman or firms and lets the customer access all of this feedback for FREE, allowing them to choose a local tradesperson or service provider with confidence and ease.

Sites like ‘Checkatrade’ and its competitors highlight a new way of thinking for consumers. Gone are the days for peer recommendations and flicking through the yellow pages. Customers now demand high quality services and competitive prices. Checkatrade offer just that by making it clear exactly who are the local trades and services that are keeping other customers satisfied the most.

Why have ITS become a partner?

We were drawn to Checkatrade by their similarity to us, in that their entire business revolves around the desire to make sure that the customer is as satisfied as much as possible. It was nice to be told the degrees at which they will go to, to assure that their customers are receiving the best level of service possible – much like us here at ITS.

More and more tradesman are joining Checkatrade to help them to make contact with local people that require their services and we ITS want to support those tradesmen by being their tool supplier; Ultimately ITS, ‘Checkatrade’ and local tradesman work together to ensure that the public are happy with the job being done and the people doing it for them!
