"Rubbish. You need a big area around the saw to use it due to the way the slide is designed. The power lead is located in a very vulnerable place and will not stand up to the rough and tumble of normal site conditions. The light and laser lasted less than a week - not that I really care about that. But overall I would describe this saw as cumbersome and awkward with important components put in very bad places. The dust bag is useless - if you attach a vac there's still mess everywhere because the extraction mount is in the wrong place. .. Not up to scratch for proper tradesman/construction use. If you want to buy one of these - mine is available on the second hand market. "

"looks great, ended up being a complete load of rubbish. built in China to really bad tolerances, no good for a professional. Sent to Bosch after first use, been with them 6 weeks now and they still have it... really not impressed. Went and bought a Makita replacement while I await a response. Will never by Bosch or Skil again. False economy. Makita and Dewalt all the way now."

"Excellent saw for the money, has features on it such as the light and laser that you would expect to only see on more expensive versions. Ideal for all that I do as it has impressive cutting capacities. Not too heavy either."
