The Trend Lock Jig uses a set of interchangeable templates & with a router will cut the mortise & face-plate recess for popular door locks.
The Trend Lock Jig is suitable for most common sash mortise & deadlocks, with up to 3" deep mortises & a 7/8" or 1" face-plate. (Deeper mortises can be achieved with a suitable size auger bit).
Fast, clean & accurate results on doors 34mm to 58mm thick, even in hardwood.
The Trend Lock Jig features CNC precision manufactured paltes & body for maximum accuracy and prolonged life.
The Trend Lock Jig requires a plunge router fitted with a 30mm guide bush plus a 12mm long reach cutter (TRE1/2TR37).
HOW THE TREND LOCK JIG WORKS
Templates
Both the mortise and the face-plate are selected to suit the size of the lock. Templates are held by two powerful magnets.
Compatibility.
Must be used with a 30mm guide bush and a 12mm diameter cutter. For deep mortises a heavy duty router should be used.
Final application
Mark the appropriate position for the lock & centralise on the door using the centre line notches within the jig aperture. The jig can then be clamped to the door. In most applications, the door will be held secured on its side.

Brilliant Piece of kit! Easy to set up and use again and again. The only thing i would add to this product is a carry case as you dont want to lose any router cutters, jig plates, jig paperwork or guides. alot of little things that could get damaged or lost over time. Sound job though Trend!
