The DMR106 is the latest Makita jobsite radio, an upgraded version of the hugely popular DMR103 radio, now equipped with Bluetooth Class 2 capabilities, allowing users to effortlessly connect wirelessly to a mobile or any other bluetooth device within a range of 10m.
If you're worried about draining the charge on your device don't worry because this radio also has a USB input which allows you to plug your phone/tablet in and keeps to charging.
FM & AM Tuning - This radio is NOT DAB but dont let that put you off! As soon as you connect your phone to the bluetooth signal you can then use your own mobile as a DAB receiver to still enjoy all of the benefits of digital radio. Straight out of the box it can connect to a wide range of frequencies from 522-1629 KHz on AM and 87.5 - 108Mhz FM so you'll never be left on a silent site.
Large 89mm speaker provides a higher quality sound, AUX-IN jack for connecting to external audio source (connecting cable is not included), 2 speaker stereo system, elastomer bumpers protect against rough handling, has a falling impact strngth of 1.0m and is shower proof withstanding up to 5 minutes exposure to rain.
The Makita DMR106 is compatible with all of Makita's Li-ion battery range from 1.5Ah to 5Ah. It is not compatible with Ni-CD or Ni-MH batteries. Please note it is not compatible with and will not accept 10.8v slide-on batteries.
PLEASE NOTE: The aerial supplied is stored within the cardboard packaging and easily missed - make sure you find it before disposing of the box.
